PHENJORIPE comes from the Romany language – it’s the female equivalent of “Pralipe”, which means “brotherliness”.

 

PHENJORIPE is reminiscent of the female guardians of life, tradition and wisdom.

 

PHENJORIPE means sisterhood between the women of the world.

 

PHENJORIPE is power, elegance, charm, romance...

 

PHENJORIPE is a part of ROMANY DANCE SCHOOL!

 

PHENJORIPE is a performance project joining teachers, students, Roma and others together on stage to celebrate international dance arts and Roma poetry!

Acting as Artistic Director is artist and Berlin native, Katusha Kozubek. The singer, dancer and actress founded the ROMANY DANCE SCHOOL project in Zurich, Switzerland in 2008.

 

The heart of our company is TRIO PHENJORIPE!

 

In ENSEMBLE PHENJORIPE, we celebrate life with female artists from around the world: with stars and starlets from the Roma Culture scene, with our most talented students…we like gypsy!

We are accompanied by exceptional musicians, singers and dancers in PHENJORIPE & friends!
