PHENJORIPE comes from the Romany language – it’s the female equivalent of “Pralipe”, which means “brotherliness”.
PHENJORIPE is reminiscent of the female guardians of life, tradition and wisdom.

Acting as Artistic Director is artist and Berlin native, Katusha Kozubek. The singer, dancer and actress founded the ROMANY DANCE SCHOOL project in Zurich, Switzerland in 2008.

In ENSEMBLE PHENJORIPE, we celebrate life with female artists from around the world: with stars and starlets from the Roma Culture scene, with our most talented students…we like gypsy!
